The Youth Service Bureau is pleased to announce our “Button Up The Building” Campaign. The buildings that house the Youth Service Bureau are now in need of major repair. Our Covington home and headquarters, once the Ben Franklin Store with its wonderful years as an historic downtown Covington icon, is beginning to show age. As can happen with age, things begin to drop and break and just wear out! We have plans to revive our home to allow it to be the place it was, yet stronger to be the place it should be. It is the goal of our “Button Up The Building” Capital Campaign to raise $500,000 over a three-year period. With the funds raised we can repair and restore this building as well as repair our other offices located in Slidell, Franklinton and Bogalusa so that we have a safe and inviting atmosphere for the at-risk youth that walk through the doors of the Youth Service Bureau.
We hope you will consider a gift to insure that our at-risk youth find a sound, inviting, and productive physical environment here at the Youth Service Bureau as we work with these youth and their families to help them reach their full potential. The success of our campaign is because of your concern for the youth of St. Tammany and Washington Parishes and your generous support of the Youth Service Bureau.
The Youth Service Bureau is most honored that Walter P. Reed, District Attorney, 22nd Judicial District, serves as the Honorary Chair of our “Button Up the Building” Capital Campaign.
