OPTIONS - Substance

OPTIONS is a nine month
out-patient treatment program for adolescents ages 12 – 17 meeting
diagnostic criteria for Substance Abuse or Dependence
OPTIONS Services:
- Assessment
- Individual, Family, and
Group Therapy
- Parent Groups and
Educational Groups
- Drug Screening
- Relapse Prevention
- Twelve-step Work
- Information and Referral
Risk Factors:
- Tolerance: Using more of
the substance to produce desired effects
- Family history of substance
abuse
- Environment with
emotional/physical abuse or with substance abusing family, friends,
etc.
- Emotional distress:
depression, anxiety, worry

Therapists for OPTIONS
and Power of Choice possess the required degrees and licenses to provide
counseling in the areas of mental health and substance abuse.
